Nikhil Bandopadhyay the Sitar Maestro and Ali Akbar Khan the Sarod Maestro are two of my most favorites. I basically love North Indian Classical Music. Taking on from there my love for music knows no boundaries – I try to listen to music from all over the World and collect the same. 

 

And then of course there is Shri Manna Dey, Shri Mohammad Rafi, Shrimati Lata Mangeshkar and Shrimati Asha Bhosle. 

 

Madan Mohan, Hemanta Mukhopadhay, Salil Choudhury and Kalyanji-Anandji are my favorite composers.

 

I consider Kabir Suman as the trailblazer for Contemporary Bangla Songs.
